Atari Jumps The Couch For NextFest 2006

Who doesn’t like weird news about weird toys? As it so happens, GameDaily brings us a suitably weird news story about a weird French toy called Nabaztag that will see its “concert debut” at Wired Magazine’s Atari co-sponsored NextFest 2006 this week in New York City.
First things first: Nabaztag (which I keep calling “Nazi Bag”) are these weird Tamagotchi-esque robot rabbits that have wi-fi capabilities and, like, do things. Apparently, one of the things they do is perform music, which is why Atari is so psyched to present the Nabaztag Opera at NextFest 2006. Presumably an army of benign bunnies will soothe the tech-frenzied crowd as the voices of a hundred electronic angels merge into a fugue of aural ecstasy.
Or they’ll slaughter everyone.
For what it’s worth, your man tiny is trying his damnedest to get a seat for the show.

Is there reason to why “Nazibag” resembles a white hood? Hmmmmmmm…
This seems really extraneous.
