Translated Memories: Silent Hill Exposed
Web site Translated Memories is like the Rosetta Stone of Silent Hill. The staff have translated all of the supporting Japanese text regarding the Silent Hill series. The site is divided into 3 sections; Book of Lost Memories, The Sullivan Victims, and Another Crimson Tome.
The book Lost Memories is a bonus guide to Konami’s Silent Hill 3 strategy guide, which covers the whole series. It includes histories, maps, ending analysis, character relation charts, you name it, they got it. The Sullivan Victims is taken from Konami’s official Silent Hill 4 site, which profiles all of the life-sucking ghosts in the game. Another Crimson Tome is another set of back stories regarding Silent Hill 4.
Translated Memories is a fascinating look into the rich history surrounding the Silent Hill universe. Also, thanks to the folks at Konami for scaring my pants off time and time again.
