NES Had Only One Weakness...
This thing! There’s nothing quite like a “Cart”-blocker to spoil a man’s or woman’s day when the urge to play your NES takes over. Who would possibly want to block your cart from penetrating that hulking gray mound? Your parents.
Designed to keep your children from inserting their carts and having fun prematurely, this “Homework First” device featured a combination lock system to make sure your kids did homework and hated you during that time period. Man, I would have hated to see something like that on my NES.
I ran a search on t3h internets via its series of tubes and came across a message board that seems to conclude the device is real. They also have an alternate picture of the device posted.
